Privacy Policy

PaySoQuick is a free currency converter and travel-money helper for Colombia. We keep data collection minimal: there are no accounts, and the conversions, prices, and settings you create stay on your device.

Your settings, saved prices, conversion history, and the last fetched exchange rate are stored in your browser's local storage on your device. This data is not sent to us and never leaves your device unless you clear it. You can remove it any time from Settings → Clear all saved data, or by clearing your browser data.

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate, anonymous usage — for example which pages and tools are used and roughly where visitors come from. This relies on cookies and collects information such as approximate location (derived from your IP address, which Google anonymizes), device and browser type, and pages viewed. We do not use this to identify you personally.

If you use the Scan Price Tag tool, the photo is used only to read the price. When cloud recognition is enabled, the image is sent to Google Cloud Vision for text detection and is not stored by us; otherwise it is processed on your device. Photos are never saved to our servers.

Exchange rates are fetched from ExchangeRate-API. Requests for the current rate are subject to that provider's terms; we don't send them any personal information.

The only cookies we set are those used by Google Analytics. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the converter still works without them.

These providers may process limited data as described above:

You can clear all locally stored data from Settings, and block analytics cookies via your browser or a browser extension. Depending on your location (for example under GDPR or the CCPA), you may have rights to access or delete personal data; since we don't maintain accounts or store your data on our servers, most data is already under your control on your device. Contact us with any request.

PaySoQuick is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected by a new “last updated” date on this page.
